Location: Puntarenas Province, Garabito District.

An affluent tourist center for both local and foreign visitors, Jacó features a gray-sand beach extending for 4 km, with big waves due to the fact that the beach faces out to open ocean.

On and around the beach you can enjoy walks, horseback riding, kayaking, crocodile viewing, sportfishing, surfing, bicycle tours and other activities.
