Location: Southwestern Osa Peninsula, Puntarenas Province.

This protected area contains tropical rainforest typical to the Southern Pacific region of Costa Rica.

The wildlife area is considered an excellent living laboratory where both the structure and function of tropical ecosystems can be studied, as well as the interrelationships between them.
